Center Caps look kak from afar, unfinished......get the pods sprayed to match the wheels though... does stand out a bit when compared, the surrounding oq stickers do finish the wheels off nicely, shame they didnt come out the factory like that.
Beta in real life mate... Stickers do look good. except i'm a plant and i put them on after i sealed and wax'd the rims. So they'll prob last 5mins before peelin off!
Colour looks ok on reflection, lookin at the bus just now and i think i was bein overly fussy. It's nice to see a non kerb'd wheel anyway!
Yep Skyline boys love them! :S Not the greatest balance grip imo. Not sure about the wet, as i drive like a granny.
not had too much of a problem with sling...but finding a product that stay's 'black' for 5 mins is hard tho!
But even more reason to have it lookin perfect! lol. Thats my arguement!

Looks spot on mate! If anything do the sidepods but I would'nt bother TBH!
lol! yeh yeh! these things arn't cheap to run! - Esp with no job! Hopefully that issue will be addressed next wk.
Next problem is when i need new tyres how the f**k am i going to get them balanced! I bonded the centre caps in!

likewise, you could dull the sidepods down but then it'd possibly look poo

Same as mine from laptab. I was dissapointed, so bought a new set of turinis!!!! The two were like night and day side by side. The new turinis were super silver with loads of fleck, the refurbed ones were dull a fook, no sparkle in the sun etc. The refurbed ones never 'caught' the sunlight

yeah with my 205gti I had to take my wheels to a specialist to balance cause it had no centre bore.

Do Laptab only do powercoated finishes ? Proper basecoat and lacquer always produces a much better finish apperance wise than powdercoat.
How were yours painted Ali ? The sets I have had done for people locally round here I spent a fair wedge of time going though loads of chips to pick a nice bright silver, who choose the colour for yours ?

I think you have encountered what I did when I had mine refurbed at Laptab, the original Honda paint on mine was a tad brighter when the sun wasn't on them but when the suns shines it's a near perfect match.
I'm sure the V wheels' standard finish is pretty 'chromy' anyway compared say the 172's finish. It's pretty hard to get the paint matched to manufacturers so i'm told, unless you can actually get hold of the identical paint itself.

Rich, i just gave them the wheels, said fix the curbin and powercoat them silver...or as close to the std colour as possible!
I think the choices of silver were....Silver, silver or silver lol
