bit of a problem

on my cup. i had them fitted before christmas and was very happy but 8 days later my engine management light came on. i took my car to renault and they fixed whatever was causing the light to come on. but then yesterday my light came back on so in it went again and now they are saying i need a new cat as this one is broke and letting too much stuff through? so i said id pick it up before they did anything and when i picked it up there is no light on, i took it for a good ragging and the light is still off. they also said it would fail an mot test whats going on? any help would be much appreciated thanks
oh i dont do many miles so since its had it fitted its done about 150 miles

do this test....start car, open your door and put your head so you cn see under the car, then rev engine with spare hand. if you hear a rattling noise from cat, then its gone. mine went about 3 months before mot, but it still passed, as the main honeycomb section of the cat was still in there. however, the pipe can become blocked, and you'll lose all power....

wouldnt have thought the cat was fooked, a few ppl i know have the sports cat and their engine light is on

yeah i got a sports cat from prospeed and my light came on. Took it to the garage they fixed it then it came back on again be going in again soon.

i got mine back today and was told it is fine but the light is not on at the min all take it back if it comes on again

my powerflow one is perfect. however it is strapped to a meaty 1.2

was told by my powerflow man it should fly through MOT's and emission tests
