Bit of an odd one..? Help needed Please

Just recently my 1.2 16v seems to stall really really easily when im just on the biting point or cruising slowly in traffic.
What happens, is the engine revs up and down and then just cuts out? Then my engine management light comes on for like a minute, then goes off and all is fine? This happens sometimes even when my feet aren't on any pedals.
Sorry, its hard to explain, but its quite odd. Ive taken to a local Renault specialist a few weeks ago and they plugged their up to the ecu, and nothing came up? They also checked my clutch (which is brand new) and its all fine. Odd, any ideas?

I had a similar issue when I had a 1.2. Get the garage to check you engine wiring loom look for the small black metal box (behind the engine). Your should be able to see it from under the bonnet, just check that the wires are all in tact.

I'm not saying that the wiring loom is definitely the problem but mine had the same problems as yours and it went undetected for ages. Right up until the car eventually just stopped working.
