Question,
My brothers mate (who I know) said he put a 'couple of hundred' into Ripple, reckoned the other day it's now worth £5.5k. Is he chatting s**t ?
He's also saying it's un-trackable (something like that) but he put his details in to sign up

There's a few apps. See a few posts above. Before I invest in ze German, is there an App I can download or does it need to be done through a webpage?
If so, what app? and is it easy to get started?
Is it easier if I just trust some random stranger off the internet and transfer him £500 and see what he makes in the next 6 months? There's a few apps. See a few posts above.
You'll just have to keep trying to register as a lot aren't letting newbies sign up.
You also for ease need to buy some BTC to transfer to their wallets to buy the other coins.

Moneygram have announced theirpartnershiptrial with Ripple today, which has started to recover the price. Apparently there are two more major money transfer organisations on board as well - no announcement as of yet though.
I was twitching over the last couple of days that it had peaked and the XRP bubble had burst...now I wish I’d bought more!
Yeah trial is a better word for it I guess. Hopefully it’ll bring the price up enough to make a tidy profit, that’s all I’m interested inWent up to $2.15 about 10 minutes ago and back down to $2.10 right now.
Yeh. It really depends on how all the sheep view it.Yeah trial is a better word for it I guess. Hopefully it’ll bring the price up enough to make a tidy profit, that’s all I’m interested in
At what point would you sell though.Yeh. It really depends on how all the sheep view it.
Hopefully everyone will read it tonight and jump on it and then I can sell tomorrow morning.
Why do you believe that to be impossible?Xrp has a market cap of $74.55 billion at the moment so it’s going to go to over 3.7 trillion this year? lol when the highest bitcoin has been is 326B.

My mate at work was touching £3m last weekend. This week he's lost over£500k with all the selling everywhere. Absolutely bat s**t mental. All from a £25k bank loan too!!!!
Another from my office bought £200 worth or Ripple when it was £0.0045 per coin. It's now £1.50......
That's £67,000 from £200!
IIRC it's not seen as gambling winning and would instead fall under capital gains, i.e. you have bought an asset at a certain value and then sold it at a different value. No different to trading in stocks / shares in respect of the tax treatment.I noticed something on coinbase mentioning about needing to check on your tax for "earnings" through coinbase.
Surely this is just the same as gambling and therefore not taxable due to being able to reclaim losses etc.
f**k me, fair play. That's some cojones to get a bank loan to invest in mickey mouse nothing.
Why's he still at work? lol

Say he wants to sell ? Can he get someone to give him actual real monies that he can put into his bank ?
(I know nothing about this stuff)
