bits and bobs need some advise!!!!

hello all

Im looking 2 do a 172 engine conversion on my 1.2 but have a problem of not knowing whats best for the car.

Things im looking to do the the engine are:

cambelt change:- (looking for the best one)

new clutch:- (again best one)

new oil filter:- (if theres a good one)

oil change (engine):- (what is the best oil)

Brake fluids:- (i think its dot 4 grad i need but is there a good brand i need at all)

if you could just let me know your recommendations would be appreciated

if you dont know anything about the above then i would'nt do the conversion! its also down to personal preference and what you want?

i know wot i need im just asking if theres better things to buy like a better rated clutch rather than the standerd ?? or a stiffer cambelt ect...???

standard belt is fine. Nice and pricey to get changed though. Pain of a job. Clutch comes down to preference really.

original renault timing belt kit + aux belt kit

i would say the standard one you mite find some of the high performance clutchs to be a bit heavier on the pedal. thats my preference?

oil filter you get what you pay for.

oil i would say the best to go with again personal preference would be motul 300v.

brake fluid theres lots about my mate finds ate blue good he uses it for track.

try searching in the forums for some info.
