Black cover thing around engine

Hi all just wondering i got an 04 plate 1.2 16v which has like a cover all around the engine meaning that i cant get at plugs, airbox etc. was wondering if there is any way to remove this and what it would affect if i did?

None right now will try to get some up later. The best way i can describe it is like a black plastic casing cant see plugs or leads or airbox just a pipe coming from right side of engine.

That big black cover thing is your airbox believe it or not. Easy enough to remove I just can't remember how right now.

Edit: Possibly best way to find out how to remove the whole thing is finding a guide to fitting an induction kit?

^Thanks for that surely that cant be the airbox can it? it covers the whole top of the engine.
