black light bulbs

Bloody amazing, spotted in motor world yesterday little LED bulbs to replace the filament ones, all different colours, but no orange ( for my repeaters)

Asked the bloke if they did orange and he said that the colour of the base of the bulb was the bulb colour...

he then went through all the ones in stock and showed me the black bulbs, said they light up black, wish id got them now, when you switch the on it gets darker i spose????

by black light do you mean emmits a utaviolet light or do you mean a black bulb ?? you cant make black as it isnt actually a colour

Thats the point guys, black isnt a colour ... the bulbs were rainbow i think but the guy in the shop was trying to convince me they lit up black

- just proving that its usually best to seek out the one who knows what hes talking about in car shops, cos if this guy believes in black bulbs he really is unsafe working in a car shop...

seriously though if anybodys got clear side repeaters the yellow bulbs flash orange and dont give you a orange blob in the middle when they arent flashing...
