What do you use to get the best finish if you where to paint it yourself

Give it a good key, some plastic primer and then top coat of black paint. Oh and some laquer

He means give it a light sanding so its rough, so the paint has a nice surface to stick to. If you spray straight onto the glossy finish of the badge it will just flake off.

any black probably just go over it with black plastic paint for now

bout £5 from any local car spares shop

i cleaned mine, gave it a few coats of plastic primer(all i had leftover in the garage) and some gloass black spracan stuff, and the a few coats of laquer. been bout two week and alls good, looks good 2.
