Cant get normal wap or whatever internet it is to work on my new blackberry

bought from orange and the guy said to go on blackberry.orange.co.uk but when i register it it says the phone isnt an orange phone? whats up with that?

i got the emarald from orange contract mate, had 2 wait 2 weeks for it 2 register to orange then they send you the details, call them up in morning and tell them they usually do it over the phone,
