Blackberry Question...

I've sold my Blackberry and now have an iPhone, the person I've sold the Blackberry to is trying to use instant messenger but can't because he's being told their are two accounts on the same phone. We are both on Orange and as far as I'm aware I didn't set an account up with Blackberry. I've also called Orange who said he can sort it on Blackberry.Orange.co.uk but he says he's still having problems, can anyone help on here?

to be fair a mate also had this problem when he bought one second hand so ill ask him if i see him tomoz
