Blanking off number plate....

Just interested on how you achieve this, as a mate wants me to take some pics of his car but wants the plate blanked out..... I am running a mac, do I need photo software?

You'll need editing software of some description. GIMP is free.

But why bother? Hundreds of people see his plate everyday.

For what possible reason ? They look stupid without numbers on .. and it's on show the rest of the time.

Stick some gaffa/masking/insulating tape over the plate, or remove it.
