bloody renos HELP!!!

right now i really am pissed off, the oil pump my mechanic has got for the car is to long he has been sent 3 pumps, 2 were the wrong ones and finally the third came and it looked ok. but it is to long. so he rings up renault goes to the technical department and they tell him that a different pump is required and the only way to fit it is with a new sump and chain. £260 + VAT. i need help bout 300 for a new sump pump and chain sounds steep so does ne one know of this problem and can any one get these parts cheaper. if not i need advice, u lot know i have spent a small fortune on this car and i really wish i wouldnt have bothered at all, so should i scrap the f**ker and sell all the bits or get a different engine or what?

check out Euro parts, i havent got a number for them, but they are very very cheap, and they are all genuine parts, i have used them before, never been let down. Give them a call feller!!

£300! you could get a recon engine for near that. pm me your reg ill check oil pump part numbers.
