bloody speedo!

Changed the speedo sensor after reading on here that that should solve my problem but speedo still droppibg to zero as and when it likes. Anyone know what my problem could be? Wiring onto top of sensor maybe?

Done the test and all is ok

The speed sensor has three wires:

Ground
+12v
Signal

Confirm all of these are stable.
