Bloody Zorst, Grrrrrrr!

Its just been one of those days today, aswell as the fun and games ive had fitting my green filter the task i was planning has gone t*its up!

I could swear the exhaust gasket on the front of that cat was blowing after seeing white smoke from it on a cold morning, anyway i got car up ont ramps and got underneath to find its not blowing anywhere...

After a little while i noticed condensation dripping from the gasket at the back of the cat (Zorst End) so i replaced the gasket and bolted it back together, now the car sounded fine for a while untill the zorst got remotly warm and then its growling like a b*sterd

Is it possible ive put the gasket in the wrong way around?? i gave it a good clean up b4 i fitted it and its a dry joint so its not like i need to put any zorst putty on it is it

use a gasket and some exhaust sealant stuff as this will give it an air tight fit whether it expands or not
Cheers mate, gonna try that next me thinks as ive only got 1 gasket left kicking about! Wasnt keen as its suppose to be a dry joint but bugger it, anything is better than sounding like its got a peco big bore 4000 on it

get RED instant gasket from Halford £3.99 a tube and it works wonders, i didnt even use a gasket on my old system and no blowin at all
