Since my 2004 182 blower fan has gone intermittent and a new resistor has done nothing to fix it, I think it’s time to replace it.
There seem to be 4 different types of fans listed for the clio mk2:
One in a snail shaped housing (I assume phase 1?)
Non ac
With ac (but not climate)
With climate.
Ok so far, but the only one listed for cars with climate is a Ridex one on AUTODOC which doesn’t inspire confidence.
I get why the AC and non AC versions would be different, but are the climate/manual AC fans really different parts? If so, what is different about them?
Is it just a part that can be swapped over or some plastic that can be cut?
I can get a Valeo AC non-climate one from ECP and I’d rather do Valeo than Ridex.
