blowers noise

When i have my blowers on full they work fine for a while then the noise changes to alot louder. Usually if i turn the aircon on then turn it back off the noise levels go back to normal. This has worked for a while but at the moment it just stays loud. Any ideas?

You might have something blocking off the air intake vent on the scuttle panel. Due to the weather you might have Snow covering it. I always remove the snow on the scuttle panel, to unblock the vent. I have noticed on my GF's car that when you remove the snow, the air blowing out inside does get faster/louder.

could be but its been doing it for the last year and a half. where do i go to check the fan ?

Is this after a couple of minutes of usage in the morning? sounds as if the air direction changes to just behind the drivers side of the dash and sounds blocked for a few minutes and goes back to normal?

not necessarily any time. usually if its been on for a while. it does sound like it only comes out one area so making it louder. but if i put aircon n and turn it back off it fixes it and sounds normal. except at the moment that doesnt fix it. anywhere i can look ?

Hmm mine only seems to do it first thing in the morning, and I tried turning on and off the aircon the other day to see if it stops, but it didn't.

I'm really not sure what the fault is.
