Blowing Exhaust System MK2 172

The car is now on 5,300 miles and the exhaust system is blowing like a mad donkey. Are Renault going to sort it or going to fob me off? What exeperiences have you had with this?

blowing ? not heard that one, buzzing at 4,000 rpm yes but not blowing, take it back to the dealer you have a warranty so use it they should sort (well attempt to sort) any problem you have with it

im sure some people have had problems with the exhaust system, heard quite a few people have had the centre sections looked at/replaced.

most of us have the the buzzing at 4000 RPM, requiring centre section to be replaced under warranty. Do u mean this or do u actually mean that its got a hole in thats blowing? If its the second id say thats pretty rare, not heard of many peeps with that at such low mileage?

the car is kind of stuturing on idle and the exhaust sounds as if it is blowing (spitting). Is that normal? Also, the car seems to struggle sometimes to start, the ignitions are really dodgy and sometimes takes 2 or 3 goes to get it started!?!

hot starts are sometimes a problem, other than that mines been ok
