blue thingy

does anyone know what that blue cap thing is at the back of the glovebox in the 182?
Also under the passenger seat there are some wires and a connector block, is this to connect a multichanger or is it nothing?

You turn it to open it to chill the glove box when the air con is on.

The cable sounds like the one an autochanger. It sounds like one was fitted at the factory by mistake then they removed it as the cable is only fitted if the customer specifies the autochanger option.

I didnt have one in mine as I took the one out of my last Clio. There was no cable in, so I had to buy one.

The little blue thing can be opened. It allows cold air into the glove box to chill drinks and stuff. Go give it a prod and youll see. Im sure its in the manual.

The wires under the seat are most likly the seat belt/airbag wiring. the Cd chnager cable isnt installed unless you order it with the car. You can tell if you have one though as if you have a spare black lead under the passenger seat with a thick cable its most likly a cd changer cable.

As for the button as Lee said you press it to turn the glove box into a mini fridge.

Yep. My VTS has wiring like this too. Not sure how it works exactly but Ive seen stacks of threads on the Saxo website about the airbag light coming on after people have fitted bucket seats and had to cut the wire.

Dont cut yours or fiddle with it.
