Ive just received my bluetooth scannef but have no ideacon hiwcto set it up,there is a small disc that comes with it but i have no ideavon what files to open etc,not to hot with computers!,a little help please?

If it's a cheap scanner don't be putting that disc in your laptop I wouldn't trust whats on it.
Just plug it into your car, download 'torque' (paid version) from the playstore on your mobile and connect to your bluetooth

There are a number of free apps on the AppStore. Just search for OBDII and there should be a number of free ones.

If you must do it on your laptop, search for an application called PCMScan.

The disk that came with mine was full of animal p**n website llinks and trial version software.

The apps for iphone dont have near the same level of readouts as torque does

Android ftw

The OBDII app , can't remember if I paid for it or not. It connected straight to my apple obd, the other one is ran through another obd2 app.

Dad set it up for me as I'm not all that clued up on iphones
xtools like the other guy said ! Works good enough
