whhoooaahhh that inlet tract's got some bends in it buddy!

I'd end the CAF behind the headlight because if that's all sealed you're basically feeding your filter on half the capacity of the standard airbox.

Tight bends are bad for laminar flow

I'm guessing you've given yourself a huge flatspot because that's a huge inlet restriction.

You have half the amount of cold air feeds than the standard air box , combined with the fact that you have the longest inlet tract in history with more bends than the nurburgring, thus less power.

Yeah that's exactly right a massive flatspot in 2nd gear :S please share you wisdom ;)

What i would do is cut the elbow, so the airbox sits facing towards the headlight, and then just use a little of the CAF to point towards behind the headlight, and then maybe the rest fron the front grill, pointing up towards the headlight.

Panel filter!

Lol, nah try taking the standard renault feed off from the bmc one and let it bed in for a bit.

Then try taking the bmc one off and the rubber seal between the bonnet and slam panel.

Then leave it whichever way is better/louder haha. But seriously i'd take the renault feed off at least, that's the most obvious restriction and as long as the CAF is behind the headlight it should be pretty cool.

I've got a k tec panel filter suprisingly good imo. Spot on mate just one more question i've heard people talk about these but never asked what they are lol what's the slam panel ???
