BMC CDA ph1 172

For ph1 you need the CDA 85-150 - ph2 Sp-08

but keep in mind.....your original box with a aftermarket insert and a good caf will bring you more power....but the sound of the BMC is Awsom !!!

Yer i know thats what ive been reading but the original box has been drilled into by previous owner, so would like a new one any way. Cheers for the info.

Although I've never owned a CDA, I am led to beleive they are good and I wouldnt say that any power losses would be incurred if you installed one.
Cheapest way to go about it is to get the right size airbox off ebay and then sort the hoses yourself.

so why does it say its for a ph1 if you need reducer pipes....also if i were to buy this where would i get a reducer pipe from,as i would like this set up on my ph1

you need 70 mm I was confused because I had a special TB on my RS1 when I had it in 2000. You need either a 70-150 or the sp08

cheers
