Body Coloured Bumpers

Hey all, I have a 1.2 16v Dynamique. I was wondering if body coloured bumpers are an option from Renault or is it classed as a mod for insurance?

All clios do have body coloured bumpers, you obviously mean the inserts which are black.

Ok, they arent an option and if you have them colour coded, no need to tell insurance.

no need to tell insurance? But if its not standard then its classed as a modification. The car will appear more attractive to theives, so the insurance premium will go up!

Nah honestly insurance companies dont class colour codeing as a modifcation, CIS rep came around an noted my old fiesta as standard when it quite obviously was fully colour coded, and u can tell with those old mark 3s

Renault are now offering the strips to be bodycoloured yes, and they are pretty competitive prices to i think! (around the 250 mark) which is good for renault,

but yeah i had all mine colour coded on my 1.2 16v and it looks the mutts nuts. & no it doesnt effect the insurance, I know of this by experience coz my insurance got voided coz of the harnesses n alloys, not coz of the lexus lights or bodycolouredness

Yeah was fully comp! the car was only 3 months old!!!!!

yeah was only involving my car sad story as this happened back in jan n im still stuck with the crashed car on my drive to this day
