Ok I will go outside an measure.

Just to confirm I am measuring where the shock meets the hub yeah? It is the gap between the two bits of metal?

Also if there anyway of getting 58mm shocks to fit 52mm cars?

Cheers

Noooooooo. Not sure what you mean by that, but...

The shock bolts to the car via two bolts, one on top of the other. The gap between these bolts should be 58mm.

Measuring the center of one bolt to the center of the other or the top of one to the top of the other, centers are easier to measure though.

Yep you cna make them fit but no don't bother. You'll most likly have 58mm ones and 90% of kits are 58mm stuff.

It was noooo to what you were measuring. Sounded odd, lol.

You can get the holes machined out/ moved but not worth the effort, better to buy some that fit.

Ok, yours are 58mm yes Peperami?

How do you measure then? (no funny gags required)

Cheers

Sam

Peperami has a 172 I think so his are 54mm.

Just measure the center of the top to the center of the bottom bolt you'll be able to tell if its 52 or 58mm 6mm is a lot.

Erm, i'll pop out and measure them in a sec.

At the bottom of the damper on the front, it attatches to the car with two bolts. Measure the distance, centre to centre, of these bolts.

Pop outside and have a look at your car, you'll see what i mean.
