Bit of a random request and I don't really expect many responses..

The Mrs is currently going through chemo, my friends and family are there for me all the time but I really could do with a 'get away', is anyone in Bolton up for a quick pint or two.. sounds desperate I know but sometimes talking to 'strangers' is what you need.

If anyone is up for a pint in Bolton I'd me massively appreciative for it and will buy the drinks!

Been there with close friends and family in times of strife and know how hard it can be as you're seen as a sob story, and it almost seems forced from those closest to you end up feeling like you're putting them out.

Cheers @jam. Really appreciate that! Give me a shout if you're ever local and we will go for a beer! I think the pressure of her being admitted and a few arguments with friends and family has exaggerated the issue for me.. woke up this morning feeling much better and made up with the people that I'd gone off at last night which in itself has made me feel miles better!

Seeing the smile on her face today when her little boy came and then when her 3 best mates came has changed everything.

It's a tough, tough time but I'm dealing with it, at times things look like there not going to get better but realistically they are!

I genuinely cannot fault the help from the NHS, Christie's, Macmillan, and various other charities that have been there for her and us as a family.

One charity has actually offered and is sending us to London for a weekend paying for us to go to harry potter world and putting us up in a hotel for the weekend.. I cannot fault the help we have received from them at all!

Work has been s**t for me recently as we are immensely understaffed and it's been hell, but it's times like this that makes you realise what actually matters and who is there.

I can honestly say that my family, her family and certain friends have been brilliant.. I can also say that CS has been amazing for myself as a release, the PM's and responses I've received have been amazing and I cannot thank you all enough!

Hopefully Jess and I can make CS weekend 2018 to thank you all and also so you can take the piss/ tell her how soppy I've been!
