Bonet lining

Thinking of taking the bonet lining out of my car, just a few questions before i do.

1. Will the rising heat boil the washer jet fluid?

2. Will it cause any other performance decrease?

Also i would imagine the car would be slightly louder too

Well, iv done it!

First thing i noticed is that the upper inlet was alot cooler with the lining removed, and that can only be a good thing!!

The lining is sound proofing, nothing to do with heat.


Infact i thought cups didn't have it anyway?

noticed zero difference removing mine weights naf all

I took mine out as it was tatty. Also removed the soundproofing behind the engine and replaced it with a small heatsheild. Tidys the engine bay up nicely

Why would it boil your washer fluid anyway?
it's not above the engine ?
Its not even properly in the engine bay ?

Unless you meant in the tubing ?
