Bonnets and aerocatches

I'm looking for aerocatches or bonnet pins to give me a little more clearance on my inlet.

There seems to be two options.
Butcher the standard bonnet and fit the catches (it's not in the best shape anyway), or get a fiberglass bonnet and go down that route.

The fiberglass route will cost more and I'm not entirely sure it's worth it.

Has anyone gone down one of these routes that can give me some pointers?

I fitted some Aerocatches on my car but because of slam panel removal.
In my build I did choose a fiberglass bonnet as I was after a very light build.
I've seem sone metal bonnets with aero catches but I dont like the inner part you need to cut. Fiberglass is easier to work with (if you have ocd like me 🤣).
Keep in mind mine is a track Toy so I dont mind turbulence noise and it not being perfectly shaped as OEM (side gaps way bigger) . if you want I can share pictures.
