book/online recommendations RE: Handling

  Clio
Hi, I want to learn a bit more about suspension/chassis setup.

The sort of things i'm interested in are spring rates, damping, geometry, roll centers ect ect

Anyone have a recommendations?

Much appreciated

Competition Car Suspension by Alan Staniforth, I bought this years ago so I think it's been revised a few time, look on D Tweeks as well there's a few listed.

Any of the books that demon tweeks sell would give you the general insight into what you want to know. Unfortunately they are just that though, a generalisation into suspension design, geometry, etc etc.

It's a shame there's nothing out there that concentrates on fwd really as that's what the Clio and many other hot hatches are.

As said above by Russ though, the Alan Staniforth book is a good starting point.
