Having Boot Smoothed Off

Can the button be painted? any pics? oor will the paint chip off with use?

How wouldi open the boot with out the button ?

Ive painted my button

Unfortuantly winter set in before i could finish so it only has primer on, its starting to flake off cus i did it just after id washed it and when i started spraying water came outa the lock so im gonna have another go in the summer.

If you smoothed the boot off you would get a heavy duty solinoid and wire it up to a button inside the car, so when you pressed the button the boot would pop open

if ur smoothin the boot get rid of the button and use the central locking solenoid as a boot pop!

solenoid will need to be connected to a button such as a R5 window switch which was used on mine! looks much better!

My car dossnt have central locking how much would a body shop charge to do this?

(gd gd wont look like that for long mate! got a lower skirt to go onto it)

drop down to ya local scrappy and raid an xr2i for the boot release solenoid, switch etc. 20-25 quid shud be more than enough to sort them out.
