Boot light bulb size?

Sorry, i think this is probably a done before question, but i cant find anything about size. I want a led Festoon bulb from ebay, but dont know what size to get (in MM) ?

lol, thanks. i tried to get the little cover off earlier (without the aid of a screwdriver) and it was stiff so i didnt. Now its dark and cold.

No not 100%! My ruler was only to the nearest 0.0001mm so i guess it could be 36.000000001mm!!! :rasp:

lol, do the 1s with like 24 little bulbs fit in ? presume the more little bulbs the brighter it will be ??? lol which 1 have you ordered ?

Yeh, i was thinking this too. I think anything really bigger than the normal bulb wouldnt fit, although i might be wrong.

Yeh i saw those but decided they wouldnt fit. I ordered the 6 or 8 LED bulbs that are the same size as the standard ones.

Mine came today guys! I ordered the 6 LED bulbs and they arent that bright! I'd go for 8!

Erm, Ive just brought one of these:

But im now wondering if the 12v bulb will work in the boot? Is the power output for the light 12v?

I will get some pics up later today mate.

The one you bought should be fine but i wouldnt imagine it being bright enough.

Also, i'd for 39/41mm festoons in the glove box and boot as it will prevent the bulb rotating in the plug. LEDs only point one way so you need to position it at the right angle once in the holder!

I just tried them all out and they are really bright the 6 and 8 LED ones.

1 thing though is that u need a non-polarized type for the interior light.

Has ur interior light go 2 bulbs, 1 for map reading or is it a single light rocker type switch.

Its got two bulbs, rocket switch... One fixed and the one that looks like an eye.

I have the lower spec single light unit but have just bought the dual lamp unit off someone on here so will let you know when that arrives.

Ah rite, The bublbs you linked dont look like they would fit mine, the ones i have seem to be a insert and twist kind, not the slot type. Will get pics up later.

That's the holder you refer to, the lamps pull out of that twist holder.
