Boot Locking Problem

Can someone help me, every time I open my boot and leave it open for more than a minute the central locking automatically locks the car then after say 30 seconds the alarm starts going off which is really annoying.

So every minute I have it open I have to unlock it which can't be right. Surely there should be a sensor to let the central locking know its open?

Open and close one of the doors as well. The 1*2s central locking re-locks after a minute if a door isn't open, which reactivates the alarm. I can't personally say for the boot as I've never just had the boot open for too long. Once one of the doors has been opened, it should stay unlocked and unarmed.
