Boot Switch?

Hi,

just wondering where the switch is located on clios ( i have a 2005 model ) that turns on/off the interior boot light. Its only because i have a false floor in my boot with neons under it and i only want them on when the boot is open. They are currently running off a relay that is activated by a remote wire ( currently using HU remote ). I tried using the + wire of the boot light but it does not work, as the relay just stays on when the boot shuts, meaning the neons stay turned on; not good!

Thanks if anyone can help...

Im just back to the subject and was messing around trying to get the light on with boot open and off when closed. So i removed the interior light and found three wires - brown/white and two green. I kind of sussed the brown/white is + by testing it on the neons, but it seems to stay on all the time even with the boot closed. I tried putting the + onto a relay as the 'turn on', but once again it stays on all the time and dosent click off when the boot closes.

Nightfire, in the last post you mad you said to the '-ve', how do you mean? Connect the -ve to which etc?

Thanks.

The live is always 'live'. It's the negative/earth connection in the light which'll turn the light on or off. You just need to find out which one of the green wires is the -ve which breaks the circuit when the light is on/off
