Bored of my install!!!

Right, I can't afford to change the stuff but I want to redo the layout. Its seen better days anyway so will need redoing for FCS but I'd like peoples ideas.

The main limiting factor is that the wires for the sub come out the left had side and I dont want to be able to see them!

Yeah they are mate, I do still think its a tidy install but the problem is I cant think how to better it whilst keeping bootspace and wires hidden :S

You could maybe turn the sub left 90 degrees and build it into the arch, and do the same with the amp on the right hand side? other than that i dont think theres much you could do without sacrificing boot space.

How about taking the covers off the amps and crossovers to expose all the internals?

Maybe a fiberglass floor?

How about an ICE map engraved onto one of the perspex?

Its a neat install but needs brought up to date, and its not looking it best.

Or if you really wanna change it.. put perspecs over the amp cut out areas perhaps..

its a little difficult as you need to keep the sub in its box pointing that way for the best response, however I have a couple of ideas already

Nice one, Ive drawn up a few but they are on paper and I cnat quite be arsed redoing them on the comp!!

All ideas are appreciated, money towards doing them is even more appreciated!!

right my photoshopping skills are poor

I would move the sub box to the middle then box the sides in and build shelf on top of sub box and level with the sides then cover everything in carpet.

you would have it look like the sub box was the full width of the boot and the height of the sub box

I did a shop but it didn't work too well !!

Think I might go for the silver bottom floor and the top floor in alcantara. Do you think 4 fans would be overkill? Only 2 switched on normally and the other 2 for when showing off!

4 fans are ott! alc is very expensive so make sure you get it right.

Alcantara also doesnt hide any imperfections like carpet does, so, maybe carpet it then put alcantara over that?
