Not yet, alloys were a bargain so that's this months purchase. Whitelines next, the induction kit is a looooong way off though, have you seen how much that thing costs?!

Ha yeah crazy money my friend had one with the matching pillar covers and some fancy pedals I think...

Will find some pics

Such good value and looks like a great car to drive, you made me start thinking about one as a next car now! I would personally keep the wheels white they look fab.

Hopefully yep, probably not till next year now though as I'm supposed to be saving for a couple of holidays for the rest of this year. Will probably try Keevil first before considering Combe anyhow.

Really really don't like it! From all possible angles posted it really does look like an Agila compact! But does explain why you got such a bargain :)

Just swap the flaps for black ones. Job done. :)

Falls into that proper pocket car group that handles really well (supposedly - as I've never driven one!) A bit like the Panda 100HP, imo - and I've have one of those too.

I like them very much...

as a bonus (well, some might disagree), they came with this...

Loads of relatively new car for very little money, thrilled to bits with it. Drove from Stoke back to Wiltshire today, MWay munching was way better than expected, but when I finally got off the M4 and came down through the lanes it was an absolute blast, I'm still grinning about it now.

Pulls much, much better than the 8.9sec to 60 suggests, brakes are comically over-specced (for homologation purposes, I presume) for a car weighing well into the right side of 1000kg. I'm not a 'top speed' kind of a guy, all my fun comes in the 40-60 range around the fantastic roads we have here, and so far it's delivering in spades, far too early to say, but feels like it's one of those cars that will even make the daily commute quite enjoyable.

Pics are as I got home, so nothing touched yet. Tomorrow the flaps are coming off, tidying up a few bits and pieces (reattaching number plates, a few touch ups etc), shortening the aerial, removing the audio install and stripping the rear out and installing a net for the more practical moments.

Long term (holiday is next on the agenda) the plans are fairly modest, whiteline anti roll bar, H&Rs, another set of OEM wheels (and the current ones off for a refurb, possibly grey, undecided yet), all good fun. Anything above that gets staggeringly expensive, all the good parts are Suzuki Motorsport items for the rally cars, and as there are so few cars in the UK it's all import from Japan.

I couldn't leave this post without mentioning the looks, lets just say you quickly develop a thick skin owning one of these. As the other half said though, once you're in it you forget what the outside looks like because it's so fun being in it (and trust me, she hates the look of it).

Your not kidding mate, every CS meet I went too in mine I had to put up with the comments about its looks :D I personally love it. I've not read page 2 yet but just though I'd say that the whiteline ARBs and Strut Brace make a HUGE improvement on the handling aswell, perfectly go-kart like once they are done. Upgrades for the car can be expensive because like you say, most come over from Japan and very little has been developed for a cheap market due to not having huge numbers of the cars sold. The H&Rs wil obviously be good but also look at D2 Coilovers, a lot of people on the owners club used them and rated them highly. The Suzuki Motorsport induction kit looks awesome, but you can get a similar performance effect using bits of the original airbox, some hose and a K&N making a cold air feed from the original intake. I would say to try some wider wheels on it before buying new OE wheels, again it makes a noticable difference in stability imo it made it a proper back road toy when I had mine sorted. I would own one again in a second, if you like how it looks an are prepared for the abuse (lol) then they are a proper bargain!!!

Postman Pat van :D Loved it!

Chris, have you thought about going stealth and getting the wheels done in black?

Maybe, undecided yet. I'm thinking a really really dark grey, just to give it a little bit of contrast.

I'm not sure if the aggressive black on black look would work on such a 'cute' car, though. Currently trawling around the web for pics to see what's been done, but there are so few of them (especially in Black) that it's more a case of leading the way.

Alot of fun for the money.

In defence of the looks, they don't photograph particularly well. A mate has one in blue and I think it looks good. Also has a decent exhaust system with a decat and it sounds mint.

Went with some more OEMs in the end, found an ex Ignis Rally driver who had a set in waaaaay better condition than mine, 5 wheels, 2 with P6000s with 75% tread left, £130, bargain!

I don't want to dampen the entertainment, skinny tyres = good fun. Not as planted, sure, but considering I like my fun below 70 it keeps it enjoyable.

Also gave me a chance to carry out the load carrying abilities, surprisingly good and the car felt much different with weight in the back, can certainly tell it's a light car as a reasonably small load made a fair bit of difference...

Ha ha, nice one Chris! I'm LOL at the criticism of the looks - they're all sooooo missing the point. Glad it drives and gives the grin factor it should do on your roads.

One of these was top of the list as a replacement for my Omega before we decided to get Sarah a Modus instead leaving me to inherit the Focus :(

Got a reet bargain with those wheels as well!!!

fair enough, for £130 you cant complain really. I had got mine sideways a fair few times on the skinny tyres so when I had wider wheels on it just worked a lot better for me. The rear seats folded down the amount of stuff you can chuck in one is amazing for such a small car, but yeah you can feel the difference with a bit of weight in them. Have you got the ARBs on it yet? If not, it'll be a bit more alive on the skinny wheels, you'll have a blast ;)

Lad in work who left last week has one of those Suzuki Ignis's. He loved it and rated highly.

Also there is one just down the road from me in Suzuki decals etc. Heard it few times around town and it sounds pretty pretty nippy and nice.

Once there lowered they look much better imo as when standard it has Fiat Panda look to it. Good little motor's though.
