When it rains , all the grit and sh-t must be washed down the slope of the bonnet, does it get under the bra and act as grinding paste with the vibration of everyday use. I looked at these in florida on many cars to stop fly/insect splats, but looking close at a new shape vw beetle the paint under the bra was sratched like hell!!
