while im gettin new discs fitted i was considerin havin my brake fluid changed

whats the deal with Dot 5 ?

and how much am i likely to need

You dont need dot 5 m8.
Use the dot 4 castrol sin stuff just under £4 for 500ml all you need.
I changed mine when I did my 16v/willy brake upgrade.
