182 Cup/ Impreza RB5
Firstly sorry, as I have hardly posted on here, but I have been lurking whilst building my track car.
So after owning a 182 for 2 years, which I have stripped ready for a cage, fitted all the usual track day stuff to the car I now come to brakes.
I originally had Brembo HC discs and ds2500 pads with braided hoses, but as not much used and standing outside for last 12 months the current brakes are a little poor and worst for wear.
I am thinking of putting the Pure Motorsport larger rear disc/bearing combo with new calipers on the rear. As for the front I am a bit torn what to do, I am running 15" Speedline Turini (I think) wheels. Can anyone suggest a brake kit that will fit under these wheels or Pro Race 1.2's?
I haven't felt the need to upgrade the brakes, so I could just refresh, but as I need to replace calipers I am thinking maybe add the extra margin in. Someone I know on here who races a 182 has a AP kit on his, but I am not sure about the origins of where the kit came from. Is the WIllwood KTEC setup any good?
thanks in advance.
