Brake Light Help ......please

Hi

I have a mk1 172 and when I brake lightly the brake lights don't come on. They only come on when I brake harder.
Is this easy to fix or will I have to take it to renault?

Is it something I can adjust myself?

How lightly is lightly, I noticed mine don't come on if I've only pushed the pedal a small ammount.

Have a look on your brake pedal there a swicth above where its hinged which operatr the rear lights you can just screw and unscrew it to adjust when the brake light come on. Very easy to do.
