Brake lights staying on? Been re-mapped

I got my car re-mapped (182) using the rs tuner and since then a few lights have been coming and going on the dash, and now the brake lights seem to be on all the time!! Think this is due to the remap or just a coincidence?

I've mailed Henk asking about it, just waiting on the reply

check brake light switch under brake pedal is not stuck,
check earths around rear of car and rear light connections
