Brake pad advice

  Nimbus Clio 197
im looking at these 2 sets of pads for my Cup:

YS001 - Clio 172 / 182 / Cup / Trophy Green Stuff Front Brake Pads @£49
and
YS002 - Clio 172 / 182 / Cup / Trophy Ferodo DS2500 Front Brake Pads @£80

Theres a lot of difference in the price, are the ferodos worth that much more? Any recommendations?
Also whats the best price on rear pads? Looking to do both lots as one.

Thanks

Your best bet is to speak to Yoz or Fred as they've tried out both - they should hopefully be able to give you an idea on characteristics of them (noisy, dusty, good/bad when cold, etc etc)

I've only heard about them but apparently they are both good so you should be happy with either :)

Yes big difference in performance. DS2500 are soooooooooooooooo much better. A big improvement over standard.

EBC greens were VERY crap a few years ago, but the new version is 100 times better, these are really good for road/fast road/occasional light track use

DS2500's are more of a fast road/more frequent track pad, but very good on the road also, everyone raves about them for a reason, simply because they're fantastic
