brake pad suggestions

looking to upgrade my pads for fast road driving and the very occasional track day,

running standard Phase 1 172 set up at moment

what pads are worth considering?

Or if you want to run with the masses then some DS2500's paired with Brembo HC Disks.
 
OEM for the road. Swap to something stupid like Carbon Lorraine for the track, and then change back again. Compromise pads are a waste of time. Takes 30 minutes tops to change a set even with a rubbish jack. Road pads will wilt on track, and race pads will f**k your car up on the road. For fast road just stick to OEM and don't drive like a helmet.

RE: DS2500, not a very impressive compound at all. I'm using them now. Inconsistent when cold, and not exactly massively confidence inspiring from autobahn speeds. They are quite low dust though so I'll stick with them, and use XP10/12 for my next track outing.

This on a 1450kg car mind you, not a Clio.
