Something normal like a Textar/Bosch brake pad will be fine. For peace of mind buy an OE quality pad and it's happy days.

which ones?

if you just want some standard stuff. go for brembo oe discs and a set of oe pads.

can't go wrong with that set up on a non sport imo.

Halfords Ferodo pads, Where somthing like £19.99.

Improoved braking no end. Feeling like you wont stop is a horrible feeling (with OEM copys, Cant remeber the name)

How come you want them if as you say in the OP 'drive like a granny' and 'not doing track days'?

Seems like a bit of a waste of money in my eyes.
