brake problem!

i know its not a clio but my 2000 w plate vts has just started doing this tonite, wondering if anyone can help or has had a simlar problem.

when pulling upto a complete hault, the car makes a bit of a funny noise and i can feel it in the brake pedal, the pedal seems to go quite hard then soft.

other than this the brakes are still working fine at normal speeds.

yeah i think its summit to do with that

but maybee its got a fault on it! as its never been like it is now
