brake question

today i was going 40mph and was coming to a set of traffic lights, went to brake and my brakes started to skip and the car was shaking....

could this be down to incorrect tire pressure or something else?

the car has only done 3,000 miles

Might just have been something on the road.

Were the brakes juddering if so its the ABS kicking in when the tyres lost grip.

Nothing much you can do.
