brake questions

hi, bought a car that failed mot. a couple of the problems are brake related. the car has been sitting in a garage for 2-3years.

load sensing valve seized.

can someone tell me where abouts this is ? i assume connected to the rear axle somewhere. and how do i go about free'ing it up ? is it apparent when looking at it?

excess travel in brake pedal.

when the car isnt running, the brake pedal goes hard, probably just a little harder than normal. but when you start it they go soft and have alot of travel before it brakes, and when it does they are ok, not great, but not bad either. vac leaks ? servo problem ?

binding NSR.

im going to strip the rear brakes and have a look, see what i can see. any advice/common problems ?

Footbrake left/right rear difference high.

inbalance on the rears, again il strip and investigate.

any advice/common problems or tricks etc much appriciated. thanks

Its on the rear axle connected to the car with a springs. Look underneither cannot miss it. Its used to adjust the rear brakes amount of pressure when weight is in the car.

I assume the obvious line of bleed the brakes has beeen done? As for the goes hard when car isn't running there supposed to same when you start the car there supposed to go soft.
