  1.2 Mk1 clio
hi, i wana upgrade my brakes on my 1.2 mk1 clio into some better ones as i got single solid discs and there pretty rubbish at stopping the car and since im planing to stick a 2.0 liter engine in i really will need the upgrade, so was wondering if anyone has any good sites or companies that do them for the mark 1 clio, i found some on k tec for around £660

thanks in advance

Best thing to do is to get the setup off a Mk1 172, people break them in the for sale section on a regular basis. This way its Renault based and should all bolt straight on and should be fairly cheap. You should also be able to do all the work yourself with minimal tools.

brake wise you could get the 1*2 setup like above^
but I wouldn't bother with an engine swap. valvers (even willy's) are pretty cheap these days, and you will probably end up cheaper buying one of those than doing an engine conversion.
