this is y 1st clio and french car, i have just replaces the engine and now the brakes are solid and dont feel like there slowing me down( they are though) just dont feel that responsive, it has just passed a mot with no advisory aswell

Have you reconnected the servo pipe ?

as far as i aware we replaced everything and thats after double double double checking.

they stop me i just have to push hard, they even do a good emergency stop when pushing very hard

sounds like no vacuum is getting to the servo, there is a pipe from it to the inlet manifold, make sure that is connected and has no splits or holes in it.

where does the pipe go i have a thin pipe loose that goes towards the rear of engine bay its about a cm in size.

thats the one, it goes from the servo to the inlet manifold.
