Break fluid

I cant seem to find where to check the fluid on my 172
can someone help me please as my STOP & HANDBREAK lights are
coming on when i drive up a hill :S

Standing looking under the bonnet, its in the rear left corner, get a torch, its hidden down the back behind the cover!

If the fluid is low there is a reason, usually the pads are wearing thin!

Yeah they are thin, i need to take the top off so i can push the pistons back to fit new ones. under the cover you say hmmm ffs cover everywhere

You can get to it with the cover on, easier if you remove it though fella!

The brake fluid resoevoir is located at the top left hand side on the engine if your looking towards the car.

do not top it up if your pads are low! becuase when you fit new pads the fluid will go everywhere!
