Break Pads

  S4 (320bhp) + Clio 16v

How long would it take to do all the pads on my valver myself?

Ive done them on my punto 1.1 so im guessing its preety much the same process! Or not?

Thanks

simple process.

fronts require the pad carrier taking off, which is 2 bolts, slip pads in, push piston back and done.

Rears only need the retaining bar taking off and the pads slipped in.

About an hour.

I personaly would flush the brake fluid system as its where most people find a renewed brake setup.....as its ignored.

Just the same as any otehr car.

Depending on the kit you use its just open the bleed nipples and pump away (with suitable hose on the nipples with one way valve).

But the gunson Ezi-bleed makes life so much easier and you get a better bleed.

I used one of them one man bleed systems whereby you use the pressure from a tyre to change the fluid, worked not to bad tbh..
