breather pipe ?????

Hi i have an 02 plate 172 ,i have a breather pipe coming off the air intake tube with nothing connected to it ?? was wandering if someone could point me in the right place to look for the pipe that is meant to go on it ? i have looked but cant see it .... probably be right in front of my nose!! lol ...

any help appreciated thanks......

get a photo to be sure i'm on about the same hose as you, but it should connect to the intake manifold under the coil pack
