just wondering when you renew with them do you always have to pay a deposit? i did last year because they said they changed finance company's. the lad on the phone didnt seem to have a clue and was just arguing.

I've just insured with them this year for the first time, I asked them about just paying monthly instalments without a deposit,
they said they can't do that I have to pay a deposit and then 10 monthly payments.

Sounds odd if your just renewing, should just carry on with installments but at different amounts if the premium has changed.

Everyone company is different I suppose.

Im renewing with them next month so it will be interesting to see if the require a deposit. I know when i first used them i had to pay a deposit
